Drew Yashar

Drew Yashar is a Principal at Capital Factory, leading deep tech investments across their family of funds. He brings experience as both a founder and investor, with prior roles at venture-backed digital health companies including Sympto Health and Memora Health (YC W18, Acq. by Commure), where he worked across business development, product strategy, virtual care, and health system partnerships. Drew also spent time with UC Berkeley’s Innovative Genomics Institute under Nobel Laureate Jennifer Doudna, helping launch and advise the Women in Enterprising Science accelerator, a translational program of the institute focused on spinning out academic biotech ventures. Before joining Capital Factory, he helped build as an early team member of Alix Ventures, a pre-seed and seed-stage TechBio fund, and served as Head Editor at BIOS Community, a global techbio platform reaching 40,000+ daily readers & a top podcast on Spotify for entrepreneurship.
